Day 1  Fly to Colombo    

Day 2  Colombo            
Upon arrival, transfer to the stylish 5★ Shangri-La Colombo, located in the heart of the city looking out over the Indian Ocean.            

Days 3-6  Anuradhapura  
Journey to the 5★ Uga Ulagalla in the Cultural Triangle. Explore the ruins of Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka’s former capital, and visit Minneriya National Park for a game drive. The following day set off early for Sigiriya and climb to the top of this magnificent rock for wonderful views before returning to your hotel for an afternoon to relax. Spend the next morning unwinding at your hotel before heading to Wilpattu National Park for a game drive in search of elephants, sloth bears and the elusive leopard.            

Days 7-8  Nuwara Eliya  
Depart early for the drive to Peradeniya to board your train. Journey through the stunning tea country, passing local villages and spectacular scenery. Disembark in Nanu Oya and continue by road to the 5★ Goatfell, located in the hills near Nuwara Eliya. Explore the grounds of a neighbouring tea estate at your leisure and enjoy a tour of a nearby tea factory.            

Days 9-11  Galle      
Head to the charming city of Galle and check into the 4★+ Galle Fort Hotel, set within the historic fort walls. Enjoy a walking tour of the fort, and have some time to explore at your leisure. Take a boat trip past local villages and embark on a leisurely bike ride through verdant rice fields to a local mud house where you can try traditional Sri Lankan egg hoppers.    

Day 12  Galle to Colombo      
Travel back to Colombo for your final night.  

Days 13-14  Fly home
