Day 1  Auckland                
Welcome to New Zealand! Upon arrival a transfer is included from Auckland Airport to Park Hyatt Auckland, in the vibrant heart of the city overlooking Waitematâ Harbour. Tonight, join us for a welcome reception and dinner at your hotel.      

Day 2  Auckland    
Today you'll learn about the significance of rugby in New Zealand with a visit to the All Blacks, the New Zealand national rugby union team. Your time at the All Blacks Experience will include a 45 minute guided tour where you learn what it takes to make, shape and be an All Black. This will include learning the story and feeling the passion behind the All Blacks haka; you can then test your rugby skills against All Blacks and Black Ferns in the hands-on, interactive zone. Following your visit, take in sweeping panoramic views of Auckland and its surrounding harbors from the Sky Tower's observation deck, a breathtaking vantage point in the heart of the city. The remainder of the day is free to explore as you choose.       

Day 3  Auckland to Rotorua        
Fly from Auckland this morning to Rotorua, the cultural and geothermal heart of New Zealand's North Island. Journey through a landscape shaped by nature's contrasts — lush farmlands and rolling green hills dotted with grazing sheep, offering a glimpse of the country's enduring rural heritage. Ascend Mount Ngongotahâ aboard the Skyline Gondola, an engineering marvel that rises high above the city and lake below. As the gondola glides upward, panoramic views unfold - blue water shimmering beneath you, forests stretching to distant volcanic ridges, and plumes of geothermal steam drifting across the valley. The ride offers not just a spectacular vantage point, but a deeper appreciation of the volcanic forces that shaped this region. At the summit, enjoy lunch at Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the same breathtaking vistas. Later, check in at the contemporary Pullman Rotorua, and dine this evening at Barrel & Co., the hotel's signature restaurant showcasing locally sourced ingredients and modern New Zealand flavors. Following dinner, if you wish, you have an opportunity to join us for the amazing Redwoods Nightlights experience, one of New Zealand's top tourism experiences, featuring 34 exquisite lanterns designed by world-renowned designer and sustainability champion David Trubridge. Floating above the forest floor, this award-winning, eco-tourism walk spans across 28 suspension bridges and 27 platforms, and takes about 40 minutes to complete.   

Day 4  Rotorua        
Today, explore New Zealand's geothermal wonders at Te Puia for excellent viewing of the area's geothermal attractions – including the spectacular Pohutu (Big Splash) geyser; discover Maori cultural traditions through a special welcome, with an opportunity to learn about Maori culture and arts and crafts. National schools teaching the Maori crafts of woodcarving, weaving, and stone and bone carving are all represented at Te Puia, and there is also a conservation centre helping to protect New Zealand's avian icon, the kiwi. You have a choice this afternoon of activity. take the Rotorua Canopy Tour – a forested network of swing bridges, platforms, and zip lines – all 22 meters high in the forest and often soundtracked by native birdlife – you'll journey deep into the ancient native forest to complete 6 zip lines and 2 swing bridges. Alternatively, visit Wai Ariki Hot Springs – grounded in te ao Maori principles and Ngati Whakaue culture, traditional healing practices, and manaakitanga, you'll follow a pathway of unforgettable spa experiences that move you from heat to cool, mud to water, air to steam to maximize the therapeutic benefits.     

Day 5  Rotorua to Blenheim      
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to Rotorua Airport for a scenic charter flight to Blenheim, where adventure truly begins. Upon arrival, head to Meadowbank Farm. Here, you'll get an authentic farm experience, including a sheepdog demonstration, where you'll see these skilled animals work in perfect harmony with their handlers. Following that, a sheep shearing demonstration gives you a unique insight into New Zealand's agricultural heritage and the art of wool production. Afterwards, have a relaxed lunch at the acclaimed Harvest Restaurant, whose mission is simple: celebrating authentic hospitality. Utilizing local produce and sustainable practices, your meal here is sure to be one for the age with its fresh, regional cuisine. Take a scenic drive to Chateau Marlborough; this evening, have dinner at the hotel, reflecting some of the region's finest produce and wine.    

Day 6  Blenheim to Kaikoura        
Depart for a mid-morning luncheon cruise where you'll sail along the enchanting Marlborough Sounds, a vast network of sunken valleys, islands, secluded bays, and fjord-like vistas at the northern tip of South Island, on a private wine and green-lipped mussel cruise that includes lunch; the sheltered waters are home to dolphins, seals, gannets, and occasionally orcas. Head to Picton Train station for a rail journey. From rugged coastal cliffs and jagged outcrops to sprawling vineyards and charming farmsteads, the Coastal Pacific journey offers an unforgettable showcase of New Zealand's diverse landscapes and rich cultural tapestry. As the train winds its way along the eastern coastline, you'll be treated to sweeping views of pristine beaches, lush farmland, and dramatic sea vistas. Following the Main North Line (MNL) through the South Island, the Coastal Pacific traverses a route steeped in history. Construction of the railway was no easy feat, overcoming numerous geographical, geological, and political challenges that spanned over 70 years. The railway persevered, offering today's travelers a unique opportunity to experience not just the spectacular beauty of the land but also the incredible resilience and determination that brought this iconic route back to life. Arrive late afternoon for dinner at your hotel.

Day 7  Kaikoura  
The day begins with an exclusive Kaikoura Wildlife Encounter Cruise when you board the Moana Nui Vessel across the street from your hotel; the guided cruise takes you along Kaikoura's rugged coastline, offering a front-row seat to some of New Zealand's most iconic wildlife. The knowledgeable captain and crew will lead you in your search for the region's famous Dusky Dolphins, playful seals basking on rocky outcrops, and majestic Albatross soaring above the waves. As the boat gently cruises along the coastline, you'll witness the dramatic contrast between the turquoise waters and the towering mountain backdrop, creating a truly awe-inspiring experience. On your free day in Kaikoura, you have the opportunity to explore the peninsula at your own pace. End your day by watching a Kaikoura sunset from the peninsula's rugged cliffs – where the fading sun casts a golden glow over the Pacific Ocean, providing the perfect conclusion to an unforgettable day.     

Day 8  Kaikoura  to Christchurch        
This morning, embark on a thrilling flight-seeing tour over Kaikoura's stunning landscapes, either by Fixed Wing Plane or Helicopter. From above, you'll get an unparalleled view of the Kaikoura Peninsula, with its lush farmlands stretching towards the sea, and the striking contrast of the Inland and Seaward Kaikoura Mountain Ranges framing the scene. The distinctive coastline and picturesque township, set against the towering mountains, offer a truly unique perspective of the region's natural beauty. If you're lucky, you may spot a whale gliding through the waters below. After landing, a Marine Biologist will join you to explain why Kaikoura is renowned as a marine mammal hotspot. You'll learn about the key resident species in the area, including the sperm whales, dusky dolphins, and New Zealand sea lions, as well as the ongoing research and conservation efforts aimed at protecting these incredible creatures and their environment. Depart for Christchurch by road, for a late day arrival.        

Day 9  Christchurch        
Exploration of Christchurch begins with an opportunity to go punting on the River Avon; punting is among the city's English traditions, like cricket, rugby, gardening, and afternoon tea, and today a punter in Edwardian outfit will pole your flat-bottomed boat along the idyllic Avon from the boatsheds to the Botanical Gardens. Following lunch at a historic local restaurant, across from the Botanical Gardens, it's your choice of afternoon adventures. Take a walking tour of the city's amazing street art with an art historian; explore Hagley Park and the riverside on a bicycle* (manual or electric, as you prefer); or hop aboard the mini train for a relaxing and informative Botanic Gardens Tour through the stunning 21-hectare gardens, with a knowledgeable guide highlights the seasonal blooms, exotic plants, and tranquil landscapes that make the Christchurch Botanic Gardens so unique. Spend the rest of the day and evening as you please.

Day 10  Christchurch to Wanaka        
A private charter flight takes you from Christchurch to Queenstown; enjoy a scenic drive to Wanaka, where the rugged beauty of New Zealand unfolds before you. In the late afternoon, experience an exclusive Ridgeline Tour of Wanaka. Board 4x4 vehicles to explore the remote and breathtaking countryside of West Wanaka Station. This authentic High Country farm offers a behind-the-scenes look at New Zealand's rural life, with opportunities to see farm animals like red deer, sheep, and cattle. As you traverse the hills, take in panoramic views of Lake Wanaka, a sight even many locals have yet to discover. Conclude your day with a relaxed dinner at your Wanaka hotel, featuring an à la carte menu and tranquil seating. A perfect ending to a day filled with discovery and natural beauty.
 
Day 11  Wanaka       
Begin your day with a short drive from your hotel to the heart of Wanaka, where you'll board the Dual Image for a tranquil cruise across the serene waters of Lake Wanaka. Your destination is Ruby Island, a picturesque gem often called the "jewel of Wanaka." On arrival, embark on a one-hour guided walk that combines history, nature, and photography. Explore the remnants of a dance hall that once thrived during Otago's prohibition era, a fascinating glimpse into the region's colorful past. Learn about the island's unique flora, including the famed Manuka, and its connection to the region's renowned honey. Photographic opportunities abound, with the Southern Alps providing a breathtaking backdrop to the island's mix of native and exotic plants. A refreshing morning tea amid the island's stunning natural beauty precedes heading back to shore. Following lunch, the afternoon is yours to spend as you wish in Wanaka. Day 12  Wanaka to Queenstown      
Depart Wanaka this morning for Queenstown, stopping first for an early lunch at a local vineyard. After lunch, your journey continues with a stop at Grant Family Farms Manuka Spinning and Honey Tasting center. Here, indulge in a honey tasting experience and enjoy a selection of five artisan honeys from across New Zealand, including local raw honey and premium manuka honey. Uncover the rich history of the region, its diverse flora, and unique geography, and get up close and personal with these industrious bees in their large see-through observation hive. Arriving in Queenstown, ascend to new heights aboard the Queenstown Skyline Gondola. This thrilling ride takes you 480 meters above Lake Wakatipu to the summit of Bob's Peak. At the top, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. Marvel at the rugged beauty of Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, the serene majesty of Walter and Cecil Peak, and the picturesque town of Queenstown below. Day 13  Queenstown
Head to Glenorchy at the north end of Lake Wakatipu for an exhilarating jet boat ride* through Mt. Aspiring National Park. This thrilling adventure takes you along the Dart River, weaving through the park's strikingly diverse landscapes of alpine mountains, lush forests, and glacial valleys, all intertwined with braided rivers. Explore easy hiking trails where local guides share fascinating stories of the region's rich history and the enduring Maori legends that bring the land to life. Conclude your experience with a breathtaking helicopter* flight back to Queenstown, soaring over the spectacular scenery. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to enjoy at leisure; join us this evening for a farewell reception and dinner.

Day 13  Queenstown
Your tour comes to and end today in Queenstown. Fly home anytime. A transfer is included from QT Queensland  to Queenstown Airport.
