Days 1-2  Fly to Auckland    

Day 3  Auckland        
Welcome to New Zealand! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and relax for the rest of the day.          

Day 4  Auckland        
Admire Auckland’s spectacular skyline on an included city tour. Later, explore the city at your own pace.          

Days 5-6  Auckland to Rotorua    
Journey to the Waitomo Caves, explore the fascinating glowworm grotto before continuing to Rotorua. Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see its extraordinary mud pools and spouting geysers.          

Day 7  Rotorua to Napier          
Travel through the Wairakei Thermal Valley, to the powerful Huka Falls and tranquil Lake Taupô, then onwards to Art Deco-influenced Napier. Sample the locally cultivated wines and take a city tour before dinner at a winery this evening.  

Days 8-9  Napier to Wellington    
Enjoy an orientation tour of Wellington. The following day is free to explore further with your travelling companions.  

Day 10  Wellington to Christchurch          
Take the ferry across the Cook Strait to Picton in the South Island. Continue south to Christchurch, enjoying the dramatic coastal scenery along the way.    

Day 11  Christchurch to Omarama          
This morning, delight in a guided tour of Christchurch before travelling across the Canterbury Plains towards Burkes Pass and onto Lake Tekapo and the Mount Cook region.    

Day 12  Omarama to Queenstown      
Today, travel via the town of Arrowtown and onto Queenstown.

Day 13  Milford Sound      
Discover the awe-inspiring scenery of Fiordland National Park with a cruise from Te Anau to the famous Milford Sound.  

Day 14  Queenstown          
Spend the day as you please in the company of your fellow travellers.    

Day 15  Queenstown to Franz Josef        
Experience the spectacular scenery of Westland National Park as you travel to the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions.    

Day 16  TranzAlpine Train          
Travel to Arthur’s Pass, South Island’s highest railway station before boarding the TranzAlpine train for a spectacular journey through the Southern Alps to Christchurch.

Days 17-18  Fly home
