Beautiful Belize

Day 1 Toledo District        
Fly from Belize City to the laidback seaside town of Punta Gorda in the Toledo District and transfer to your nearby lodge.  

Day 2 Toledo District        
Visit an organic cacao plantation to learn about the history of chocolate production in this enchanting region. Later explore Lubaantun, the largest Mayan site in southern Belize set amongst lush forests home to abundant birdlife.                

Day 3 Toledo District to Placencia      
After a morning to discover more of the surrounding rainforest, fly to the beautiful peninsula of Placencia, offering miles of sandy beaches and turquoise lagoons fringed by mangroves.          

Days 4-5 Placencia    
Enjoy two days at leisure exploring this pretty peninsula. Relax on beautiful beaches, dine alfresco in seafront restaurants and discover the local life of charming Placencia town.              

Day 6 Placencia to Cayo      
District This morning take a scenic drive to your jungle lodge. Spend the rest of the day relaxing or enjoy one of the many available excursions which can be arranged locally.                

Day 7 Cayo District              
Explore the impressive Mayan site of Xunantunich situated on the banks of the Mopan River. This afternoon head to Barton Creek for an exciting canoe tour of the underground cave systems.            

Day 8 Cayo District to Orange                
Walk District Travel by road and boat into the dense tropical jungle of the Orange Walk District in the remote north of Belize.    

Day 9 Orange Walk District              
Discover this incredible wildlife-rich region on one of the many exciting activities offered by your lodge. Choose from an excursion to the remarkable nearby ruins of Lamanai, sunrise jungle walks, river safaris and sundowner cocktails in amazing viewpoints.                

Day 10 Orange Walk District to Ambergris Caye          
Transfer to Belize City and fly to the white sand beaches of gorgeous Ambergris Caye, the largest island in Belize, located in the aquamarine waters of the Caribbean Sea.                

Days 11-12 Ambergris Caye              
Discover the underwater world of the Belize Barrier Reef with a shared snorkelling trip to the Hol Chan Marine Reserve where you can swim with nurse sharks and graceful stingrays. Enjoy the rest of your time here at leisure to unwind on the beautiful beaches or explore the sandy pathways of this wonderful island paradise.                

Day 13 Ambergris Caye        
Transfer to the airport for a short flight to Belize City before continuing with your onward arrangements.
