Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Days 2-4 Rio de Janeiro
Arrive in Rio and settle into your hotel. The following day, discover two of Rio’s most iconic sights; stand at the feet of Christ the Redeemer atop Corcovado before riding the cable cars to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain. Relax with another full day in the city to explore at your own pace, perhaps wandering the charming neighbourhood of Santa Teresa, unwinding on the beach, or partaking in a cooking class? Day 5 Rio de Janeiro to Paraty
Journey along the picturesque Costa Verde (Green Coast), a stunning stretch of coastline famed for its emerald mountains that meet the azure ocean. Arrive in Paraty, a beautiful, heritage town.
Days 6-7 Paraty
Enjoy two days at leisure to wander the colourful streets, lined by colonialera buildings. Visit charming cafés and restaurants or simply unwind by the pool in your hotel.
Day 8 Paraty to Iguassu Falls
Transfer to São Paulo airport and fly to Iguassu Falls, which sit at the border of Brazil and Argentina.
Day 9 Iguassu Falls, Brazil
Tour the Brazilian side of the falls. Stroll along the trail which descends down the canyon, offering panoramic views of more than 240 falls. Afterwards, soar above the falls on an exhilarating 10 minute helicopter trip to appreciate the incredible power of the cascades from a unique perspective.
Day 10 Iguazú Falls, Argentina
This morning, explore the Argentine side of the falls. A small train takes you on a tour through the park. The highlight is a visit to the ’Devil’s Throat’, the largest waterfall in the park.
Day 11 Iguassu Falls, Brazil to Búzios
Fly to Rio and transfer by road to Búzios. This charming beachside town boasts an excellent choice of cafés, bars and restaurants scattered along the cobbled streets and waterfront promenade.
Days 12-13 Búzios
The perfect way to end your trip, relax and watch the world go by or explore the many bays surrounding the town.
Days 14-15 Transfer to Rio de Janeiro and fly home
