Day 1  Fly to Rio de Janeiro  

Day 2  Rio de Janeiro  
Arrive in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel.    

Day 3  Rio de Janeiro  
See the highlights of Rio on a captivating tour with a private guide. Stand beneath the towering Christ the Redeemer statue on Corcovado and marvel at the spectacular views of Copacabana beach from atop Sugarloaf Mountain.  

Day 4  Rio de Janeiro  
Enjoy a day at leisure in the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’ (Marvellous City). Get a taste for local life on the famous beaches, stroll through historic downtown or visit one of the world’s legendary sporting arenas, the impressive Maracanã Stadium.  

Day 5  Rio de Janeiro to the Pantanal
Fly to Cuiabá and venture into the incredible Pantanal wetlands for a three-night stay at the 3★ Pousada do Rio Mutum.  

Day 6  Pantanal  
Spend your first full day exploring the distinctive landscapes of these unique wetlands and spotting the diverse wildlife with naturalist guides from the lodge, on a river cruise, guided hike or night safari.  

Day 7  Pantanal  
Home to an exceptional variety of birds and animals, including caiman, capybaras, colourful macaws, giant otters and even the jaguar, today you will continue to explore the verdant jungle and open fields of this remarkable region on expertly guided excursions.  

Day 8  Pantanal to Iguassu Falls  
After a final activity in the Pantanal, drive back to Cuiabá and fly to Iguassu Falls.  

Day 9  Iguassu Falls  
Witness one of South America’s greatest natural wonders. In the morning, visit the Argentine side of the falls and walk the trails which lead to the very top of these thundering waters. Later, enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the Brazilian side and take the boardwalk which extends along the base of these colossal falls.  

Day 10  Iguassu Falls to Paraty  
Fly to São Paulo and drive along the scenic Costa Verde (Green Coast) to the beautiful colonial town of Paraty.  

Day 11  Paraty  
This morning, enjoy a historical walking tour of this charming town, meandering the picturesque cobbled streets and admiring the colourful buildings.  The afternoon is at leisure.    

Day 12  Paraty to Ilha Grande  
Journey by road and boat to the tropical scenery and gorgeous beaches of Ilha Grande.  

Days 13-14  Ilha Grande  
Make the most of your time on this wonderful island exploring winding hiking trails through verdant jungle, discovering sweeping stretches of beach and spotting diverse wildlife. Opt to join a boat tour to take you to the perfect white sands of stunning Lopes Mendes beach and swim in the aquamarine waters of the bay.  

Days 15-16  Transfer to Rio de Janeiro and fly home  
Travel by boat and road to Rio de Janeiro airport in time for your flight home.
