Day 1 Santiago, Chile
On arrival in Santiago transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Santiago to San Pedro de Atacama
Fly to Calama and transfer to your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy an excursion into the Moon Valley for a spectacular sunset over this unique landscape.
Day 3 San Pedro de Atacama
Explore the Atacama Desert. The highlight is the incredible Salar de Atacama, a vast salt flat which is home to flamingos and otherworldly natural sculptures.
Day 4 San Pedro de Atacama
Rise early to capture the famous El Tatio Geysers at full power. Witness the swirling columns of steam from 64 geysers flanked by volcanic peaks.
Day 5 San Pedro de Atacama, Chile to Ojo de Perdiz, Bolivia
Cross the border and travel into Bolivia to explore this unique landscape. Journey past bubbling geysers and the shimmering hues of Laguna Colorada and Laguna Verde.
Day 6 Ojo de Perdiz to Uyuni
Continue onwards to the spectacular Salar de Uyuni. Explore the desolate Siloli Desert, isolated villages and stay in a salt hotel.
Day 7 Uyuni
Today the mystical Salar de Uyuni awaits you – the world’s largest salt flat at 4,600sq miles. Drive to ‘Isla Pescado’ at the centre and the impressive Tunupa Volcano.
Day 8 Uyuni to La Paz
Fly to La Paz.
Day 9 La Paz
Enjoy a tour of this compelling city and discover its highlights including the mysterious Witches’ Market and the moon-like landscape of Moon Valley.
Day 10 Lake Titicaca
Cruise on beautiful Lake Titicaca. Visit Sun and Moon Islands for stunning views and learn about their importance to the Incas before visiting the small lakeside town of Huatajata.
Day 11 La Paz, Bolivia to the Sacred Valley, Peru
Fly to Cusco and on arrival transfer to your hotel in the beautiful Sacred Valley.
Day 12 Sacred Valley
Explore the bustling markets at Pisac and the ruins of the impressive Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo on a full day tour.
Day 13 Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu
Take the train to Aguas Calientes and on arrival discover the magical Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu – an unforgettable day!
Day 14 Machu Picchu to Cusco
This morning there is time to further explore Machu Picchu at your leisure before travelling to Cusco by train and road.
Day 15 Cusco
See the city’s highlights including the Plaza de Armas, impressive Cathedral and the nearby Inca ruins of Sacsayhuamán.
Day 16 Cusco to Lima
Fly to Lima for your onward arrangements.
