A spectacular day trip from Quito takes you to volcano Antisana, located in the Antisana Ecological Reserve. As you drive towards the reserve you will be greeted by stunning vistas of the 11,000 year old glacial moraine and jagged rocky peaks. Your guide will stop en-route to see the impressive lava field of Antisanilla - be on the look out for condors soaring up near the highest peaks and cliffs. Once in the reserve your guide will take you on a tour of the paramo where you can observe a wide variety of flora and fauna, including a great abundance and diversity of birdlife. After lunch you will drive back to Quito.
