Enchanting Ecuador

Day 1  Fly to Quito  

Day 2  Quito  
Welcome to Ecuador. Upon arrival transfer your hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure.  

Days 3-4  Quito  
Wander Quito’s historic centre on a guided tour and visit the Equatorial Monument which divides the northern and southern hemispheres. The following day, travel through the spectacular Avenue of the Volcanoes. Marvel at the picture perfect cone of the Cotopaxi Volcano and look out for the unique flora and fauna of this region.  

Days 5-7  Quito to Mashpi Lodge  
Journey by road to the spectacular 4★+ Mashpi Lodge situated deep in the Mashpi Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch then enjoy your first experience of this stunning wilderness. Spend your days exploring this peaceful ecosystem with expert guides and experience the many activities on offer.  

Day 8  Mashpi Lodge to the Galápagos Islands
Depart the cloud forest and return to Quito for your flight to the Galápagos Islands. Head to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island and visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station, where scientists, researchers, and volunteers work to preserve the Galápagos' unique ecosystem. Whilst here, learn about the several subspecies of adult tortoises, as well as the numerous hatchlings that are housed in the nursery. Board the Reina Silvia Voyager later this afternoon. Once on board, unwind with your fellow travellers, perhaps take a dip in the ship's Jacuzzi, and prepare for your upcoming adventure.  

Days 9-14  Galápagos Islands  
Embark on an unforgettable experience as you sail around the spell-binding Galápagos Islands. Spend your days snorkelling with the fantastic marine life including marine iguanas, sea lions, turtles, rays, and dolphins. Soak up breathtaking views on picturesque hiking trails and learn about the history and culture of these unique and wonderful islands.  

Day 15  Galápagos Islands to Quito  
This morning, disembark your cruise and fly back to Quito. Enjoy the rest of the day wandering the historical city.  

Days 16-17  Fly home
