Day 1  Quito  
Fly to Quito and upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2  Quito      
Wander Quito’s historic centre on a guided tour, admiring its cobbled streets and beautiful plazas before visiting the Equatorial Monument which divides the northern and southern hemispheres. Perhaps climb to the top for impressive views across the Andean landscape.

Day 3 Quito to Cloud Forest  
Journey by road to the spectacular 4★+ Mashpi Lodge nestled within the Ecuadorian cloud forest. This beautiful, protected area is renowned for its prolific birdlife, incredible orchids and unspoilt scenery. Arrive in time for lunch before taking part in one of the many available activities at the lodge this afternoon.

Days 4-5  Cloud Forest  
Embrace your incredible surroundings with two days at leisure to choose from a variety of lodge excursions. Options include an early morning bird-watching tour or a hike through the forest trails to discover abundant wildlife.

Day 6  Cloud Forest to Quito  
Enjoy a final optional excursion at the lodge before departing by road to Quito.

Day 7  Quito to Galápagos Islands
This morning, fly to Baltra airport to begin your thrilling eight day G Adventures tour of the Galápagos Islands. Visit the highlands of Santa Cruz and the Charles Darwin Research Station before boarding your cruise in the late afternoon.

Days 8-13  Galápagos Islands  
Embark on an unforgettable experience as you sail around the spellbinding Galápagos Islands. Spend your days snorkelling with the fantastic marine life including marine iguanas, sea lions, turtles, rays, and dolphins. Soak up breathtaking views on picturesque hiking trails and learn about the history and culture of these unique and wonderful islands.

Day 14  Galápagos Islands to Quito
This morning, disembark your cruise and fly back to Quito. Spend the rest of the day at leisure in this historical city.
