Itinerary

Day 1  Fly to Lima, Peru    

Days 2-3  Lima  
Arrive in Lima, the capital of Peru, and transfer to your hotel. The following day explore this dynamic city on a guided tour.  

Day 4  Lima to the Sacred Valley    
Fly to Cusco and drive through scenic countryside to the Sacred Valley. En route stop at an Andean textile centre to see traditional weaving techniques.    

Day 5  Sacred Valley    
Admire the beautiful scenery, visit bustling markets at Pisac and discover the fascinating ruins of the Inca site of Ollantaytambo.  

Day 6  Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu    
Sure to be a highlight, journey by train and bus to Machu Picchu and enjoy a guided tour of the magical ruins of the ‘Lost City of the Incas’.    

Day 7  Machu Picchu to Cusco    
This morning there is time to further explore Machu Picchu before travelling back to Cusco.    

Day 8  Cusco    
See the city’s highlights and surrounding Inca ruins, including the hilltop fortress of Sacsayhuamán.

Day 9  Cusco to Quito, Ecuador    
Fly to Quito via Lima. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Ecuador’s pretty capital.    

Day 10  Quito    
Today explore the cobbled streets of the old town and visit the Equator Monument.  

Day 11  Quito to the Galápagos Islands    
Fly to the Galápagos Islands and board the 4★ Isabela II to start exploring this enchanting archipelago, home to an incredible diversity of nature including giant tortoises.    

Days 12-14  Galápagos Islands    
Spend the next three days cruising these spectacular islands and heading out on excursions with your expert naturalist guides. Their remarkable knowledge will help you discover the unique wildlife on land, by boat and kayak, or by snorkelling in the crystal clear waters.    

Day 15  Galápagos Islands to Quito    
Enjoy a final glimpse of the Galápagos Islands before flying back to Quito.    

Days 16-17  Fly home

Accommodating a maximum of just 40 guests, you will find the intimacy of a smaller cruise whilst retaining all the benefits of a larger ship.
