Itinerary
Drive to Kinabalu National Park and start your adventure with a guided walk along the forest trails and a visit to the mountain gardens, home to many beautiful and unique species of flora.
Day 2 Kinabalu NP
Meet your mountain guide at the Park HQ before proceeding to the summit trail (1,829m). Climb up through the tropical and alpine forests to Laban Rata lodge (3,353m) and relax for the rest of the day soaking up the glorious views.
Day 3 Kinabalu NP to Kota Kinabalu
Depart in the early hours (approx 1.30am) and commence the ascent to the summit (4,095m) with your path lit only by torchlight. Once you arrive at the top, catch your breath and enjoy watching the sun rise from one of the highest peaks in South East Asia. Return to Laban Rata for breakfast, and descend back to the Park HQ before returning to Kota Kinabalu, arriving late afternoon.
