Itinerary:

Day 1  Rangoon (Yangon)
Arrive in Rangoon and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this fascinating city.  

Day 2  Rangoon to Nyaung Shwe
Fly north to Heho and continue by road to Nyaung Shwe, gateway to Inle Lake.  

Day 3  Inle Lake
Ride to Inthein to marvel at the intricate pagoda complex. In the afternoon, cruise the lake and watch the leg-rowing  fishermen cast their nets.  

Day 4  Inle Lake
Cycle the edge of the lake towards the Intha villages, including Inpawkhone which is famous for its traditional silk weaving  from the lotus flower.  

Day 5  Nyaung Shwe to Pindaya
Take the scenic Shan Highland road to Pindaya. The small town is dominated by limestone caves that are filled with thousands of images of Buddha, dating back centuries.  

Day 6  Pindaya to Mandalay
Start the day cycling over rolling hills past lively villages to Ywa Ngan. From here, transfer to Mandalay and use your free time to visit sites including the Golden Palace Monastery for its intricate wood carvings.  

Day 7  Mingun
Cycle to Mingun, home to the largest uncracked bell in the world. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat trip   back to Mandalay.  

Day 8  Mandalay to Monywa
Set out early to catch the sunrise at U-Bien Bridge and then transfer to Myin Mu. As you cycle to Monywa, visit the largest reclining Buddha in the world at Boditahtaung pagoda enroute.  

Day 9  Monywa to Bagan
Pedal to Pakokku before boarding a boat to sail the Irrawaddy River to the ancient wonder of Bagan.  

Day 10  Bagan
Explore by bike and see some of Bagan’s largest and most impressive temples, including Ananda Pahto, Dhammayangyi Pahto and Shwesandaw Paya.  

Day 11  Mount Popa
A scenic cycle today to reach the petrified  forest that surrounds Mount Popa. Take an optional hike to the summit to pay   respects at the Taung Kalat Monastery before cycling back to Bagan.  

Day 12  Bagan to Rangoon
Enjoy a free morning before transferring to the airport for your flight back to Rangoon.  

Day 13  Rangoon
Take in Rangoon’s bustling lanes of Little India and Chinatown on a city tour, also including famous Bogyoke Market and  magnificent colonial buildings. Enjoy the open spaces of Kandawgyi Park before enjoying sunset at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda.  

Day 14  Rangoon
Your tour ends after breakfast.
