Treasures of Laos

Day 1 Luang Prabang    
Upon arrival transfer to your hotel, before meeting your guide to visit the ancient Xieng Thong Temple. Afterwards, stroll through the markets before dinner on the Mekong riverside.    

Day 2 Luang Prabang & Kuang Si Falls    
Explore the charming streets of Luang Prabang and visit some of the city’s most important sights on a morning tour. Climb the 328 steps that lead to the top of Phousi Hill for a panoramic view of the city and surrounding countryside. After lunch drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls where there is the opportunity to take a refreshing swim. This evening, you will have the unique opportunity to attend a centuries old Baci blessing ceremony at a traditional temple.    

Day 3 Luang Prabang & Pak Ou Caves    
Take a picturesque cruise to the revered Pak Ou Caves, adorned with thousands of Buddha sculptures. Enjoy lunch on board against a backdrop of towering limestone mountains before returning to Luang Prabang for an afternoon at leisure.    

Day 4 Luang Prabang to Vientiane    
Depart Luang Prabang and travel the scenic journey to Vientiane by high-speed train.  

Day 5 Vientiane    
Travel out of the city to visit the eccentric Buddha Park. Set on the banks of the Mekong, this park was created by a Lao shaman in the 1950s and is filled with over 200 statues. Head back to Vientiane and visit the Lao Disabled Women Development centre which teaches skills for disabled women to become self-sufficient. Finish your day with a tour of Vientiane’s finest temples and monuments.

Day 6 Vientiane    
Transfer to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
