Days 1-3 Bangkok
Your first three nights are spent at one of the capital's most luxurious hotels, the Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok. For over 140 years guests have been warmly welcomed at this iconic property which has maintained its classic Thai inspired charm and character after recently undergoing an impressive renovation. No trip here is complete without experiencing the renowned afternoon tea at the Author’s Lounge or indulging in fine dining at Le Normandie. To really get a feel for life on Bangkok’s famous river, enjoy a memorable evening dining cruise aboard a traditional wooden rice barge or appreciate exquisite Thai cuisine at the hotel’s Riverside Terrace.
Days 4-5 Golden Triangle
Fly from Bangkok to Chiang Rai and travel by road to the magnificent Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Trianglewhich is tucked away in a secluded location just south of Burma and west of Laos. The camp offers outstanding tented accommodation with incredible views across the fertile valleys and rugged hillsides. Your unforgettable two night stay is inclusive of all meals, served in a unique open air restaurant which specialises in Thai, Laotian and Burmese dishes, plus all house wines and spirits, in room mini bar and nightly wine and cheese tasting.
