Day 1 Bangkok, Thailand
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax.
Day 2 Bangkok
Discover this lively city today with a day of sightseeing. Visit Wat Pho and the Grand Palace and enjoy a boat tour of the city’s canals.
Day 3 Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Head north to the provincial town of Kanchanaburi. Visit the Hellfire Pass Memorial which commemorates the prisoners of war who died building the infamous ‘death railway’.
Day 4 Kanchanaburi
Travel the short distance to Erawan National Park and admire the pretty waterfall and the emerald green ponds.
Day 5 Kanchanaburi to Nakhon Sawan
Rural Thailand is idyllic. Travel through beautiful landscapes of limestone mountains before a dinner cruise on a traditional rice barge.
Day 6 Nakhon Sawan to Sukhothai
Continue north to Sukhothai where you have the opportunity to visit a traditional Thai farm.
Day 7 Sukhothai
Sukhothai was one of the first ancient capitals of the Kingdom of Siam. Enjoy a cycling tour around the World Heritage listed historical park before a picnic lunch within the grounds.
Day 8 Sukhothai to Hmong Hilltribe Lodge
Travel from Sukhothai to the Hmong Hilltribe Lodge. This ethnic minority is the second largest hilltribe group in Thailand and after a barbecue dinner, enjoy a cultural performance, including a shamanic ritual.
Day 9 Hmong Hilltribe Lodge to Chiang Mai
Elephants are the national animal of Thailand. Visit a nature park this morning, dedicated to the rehabilitation and protection of these majestic animals. Continue to Chiang Mai for a street food tour this evening.
Day 10 Chiang Mai
Learn the basics of Buddhism this morning and visit a university specifically for monks. The afternoon is free to explore Chiang Mai at leisure.
Day 11 Chiang Mai to Luang Prabang, Laos
Transfer to the airport and take a short flight to the relaxed riverside town of Luang Prabang.
Days 12-13 Luang Prabang
Wake early on day 12 and participate in the giving of alms to local monks. Later, enjoy a boat trip on the Mekong River, flowing through the middle of the city. On day 13, visit Kuang Si Waterfall where there’s time for a refreshing swim.
Day 14 Luang Prabang to Vientiane
Fly to Vientiane, the capital of Laos and explore the city on a sightseeing tour. Stop by COPE, a Peregrine supported charity. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner with your fellow travellers.
Day 15 Vientiane
Your tour ends after breakfast this morning.
