Bangkok, Elephant Hills & Khao Lak

Day 1  Fly to Bangkok

Days 2-4  Bangkok  
Arrive in Bangkok and transfer to your hotel. Get to know Thailand’s bustling capital city with your guide like a local as you tour the city by Skytrain, tuk-tuk and public river boat, including the iconic Grand Palace and the massive reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. Spend the remaining time exploring the sights, smells and sounds that this extraordinary metropolis has to offer. Check out the fantastic markets and vibrant restaurants or simply relax by the pool or at a rooftop bar.

Days 5-7  Bangkok to Khao Sok NP
Fly from Bangkok to Phuket and transfer to Elephant Hills Tented Camp for four days of magical memory-making in the heart of the jungle. Get up close with the majestic Asian elephant, learn about the work of the mahouts and help feed the elephants. Other activities include canoeing adventures on the Sok River, sightseeing on Cheow Larn lake and jungle treks with experienced guides. In the evenings, sit back and enjoy the stunning surroundings, take in a dance performance or learn how to cook the local cuisine at the Elephant Camp.

Days 8-15  Khao Sok NP to Khao Lak    
After a morning jungle excursion, transfer to the tranquil resort of Khao Lak. With miles of beautiful white sand beaches and a slower, more laidback feel than many of the other resorts in southern Thailand, it is the perfect spot to indulge in a little rest and recuperation.

Days 16-17  Transfer to Phuket and fly home
