On arrival at the delta town of Cai Be, board your boat for a cruise through the Mekong’s waterways. Start your journey savouring Vietnamese fruits as you glide across the water. Stroll through a serene village and float around the island in a sampan (small wooden boat), drifting past the floating markets and stalls that call this waterway home. Immerse yourself in daily life as you witness local families using traditional techniques to create unique handicrafts. Further along the Mekong riverbanks, stop at a workshop where the specialities of rice popcorn and coconut candies are created, before enjoying a delicious lunch in a traditional Mandarin-style house.
