Itinerary
This evening transfer to Hanoi station to board the overnight train to Lao Cai, gateway to the exceptional landscapes of Sapa.
Day 2 Lao Cai to Sapa
Arrive in Lao Cai and take a scenic drive to the deep valleys and towering hills of Sapa. Enjoy a morning walking tour and visit the bustling market. Later, travel out of town to Hang Da village stopping along the way to admire the impressive views of the Hoang Lien mountain range. On arrival, enjoy a walk through terraced rice fields and several charming Hmong hamlets.
Day 3 Sapa
Today head north from Sapa through spectacular scenery to explore some of the less visited villages of this charming region. After lunch, spend 4-5 hours walking the gently undulating paths which connect village to village, experiencing the local customs of the Red Dao hill tribe.
Day 4 Sapa to Hanoi
Return by road to Hanoi for your onward travel.
