Day 1  Fly to Cancún    
Upon arrival, transfer to your Chichén Itzá hotel, the perfect place to explore one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.

Day 2  Chichén Itzá to Mérida      
Rise early for a guided tour of Chichén Itzá, discover the impressive complex of Maya ruins and learn about the history of the fascinating site and the significance of some of the buildings. Later, transfer to Mérida, the cultural capital of the Yucatán state, a city rich in colonial history. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring at your leisure.

Day 3  Uxmal & Kabah      
Today, visit the ancient city of Uxmal, one of the most impressive and important sites of Maya culture. Discover the many beautiful buildings, including the House of the Magician, the nunnery and the House of Turtles. Continue to Kabah, with its amazing Palace of the Masks, covered in almost 300 masks of the rain god Chaac. Later, return to Mérida.

Day 4  Celestún Biosphere      
Drive to the Celestún Biosphere, famed as one of the largest breeding grounds for pink flamingos and home to a wealth of plant species, some endemic. Take a boat ride through the estuaries of the Ria Celestún, observing flamingo colonies and many other species of birds, as well as the areas vast mangrove forests, shallow lagoons, and coastal marshes before heading back to Mérida.

Day 5  Mérida to Cancún      
Savour a final breakfast in Mérida before transferring to your hotel in Cancún, to unwind on Mexico’s famous beaches.

Days 6-11  Cancún      
End your holiday in Mexico’s famed beach town, known for its sandy shores, turquoise waters and an abundance of luxury resorts. Recharge after your Yucatán adventure in the sunshine with a wide range of activities to choose from and long stretches of beautiful coastline to enjoy. Beyond its beaches, Cancún offers plenty of shopping, restaurants and unrivalled nightlife. Perhaps head out for a day trip to explore the rest of this stunning area including Playa Del Carmen’s palm-lined beaches or atmospheric Tulum.

Days 12-13  Fly home
