72 Hours in Bahrain

Day 1  Manama              
Nestled on the northeastern coast of Bahrain, this is the perfect base to explore. Once settled into your hotel, why not head to the beach to catch some sun and relax after your flight.                

Day 2  Manama              
Following breakfast why not head out to Qal’at al-Bahrain (Bahrain Fort)? The ancient capital of the Dilmun Empire, the forts origins start over 4000 years ago. Offering a fascinating insight into the country’s history, this is not to be missed. Afterwards, carry on delving into Bahraini history at the much-lauded Bahrain National Museum, and finally, admire the artistry and history of the Quran at Bait Al Quran.              

Day 3  Outside Manama              
On day three, head just south of Manama to the world-renowned Bahrain International Circuit. Here you could take a tour, or even spectate one of the numerous events they host year-round. Afterwards, take to the waters around Bahrain and try your hand at pearling. Whatever you find you get to keep! Finish the evening off sampling Bahrain’s much heralded international food scene.

Day 4  Manama            
Enjoy your final breakfast in the ‘Pearl of the Persian Gulf’ before heading back to the airport for your onward journey.
