Itinerary
Begin your holiday with a 3 night stopover in the atmospheric city of Doha. Discover Souq Waqid’s vibrant labyrinth of alleyways and the traditional fishing boats in Dhow Harbour. The next day head to the desert for a 4WD adventure! Slip, slide and speed over dramatic sand dunes as you head towards the azure waters of the Khor Al Adaid inland sea.
Days 4-11 Sri Lanka
Fly to Sri Lanka where a short tour will introduce you to some of the country’s scenic and cultural highlights before you have time to relax and enjoy the beach. After a night in Negombo you will head to the Cultural Triangle for a two night stay. Climb the rock fortress of Sigiriya, spot elephants in Minneriya National Park and explore the cave temples of Dambulla. Drive south to the scenic city of Kandy. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, said to house Buddha’s tooth, before transferring to the coast for a few nights to relax by the golden sands of Wadduwa beach.
