Days 1-3  Boston  
Fly into Boston and spend time exploring the history of this New England city.      

Days 4-6  Boston to New York City
Let a high-speed Acela train whisk you away to the bright lights of New York City. Enjoy time sightseeing and shopping in the ‘Big Apple’. Why not take in panoramic views of the iconic skyline by visiting one of the city’s scenic observation decks?      

Days 7-8  New York City to Nashville
Take a flight to Nashville. Known as ‘Music City’, head to Broadway to hear live music in the famous honky-tonk bars.      

Days 9-10  Nashville to Memphis      
Pick up your car and drive south to Memphis. Delve deep into the history of rock’n’roll at Beale Street and Graceland, the former home of Elvis Presley.

Days 11-13  Memphis to New Orleans      
Drive south to New Orleans, stopping at Natchez en route to appreciate its historic architecture. Enjoy sampling tasty Creole cuisine in culturally rich New Orleans, then perhaps explore the wetland surroundings on a Swamp and Bayou tour, keeping an eye out for gators.      

Days 14-15  New Orleans to Chicago      
Fly to Chicago, a bustling city renowned for its architecture, art museums and iconic food.      

Days 16-17  Chicago to Seattle      
Board the Empire Builder and unwind for two nights as magnificent Rocky Mountain vistas pass by on your journey to Seattle.

Days 18-19  Seattle      
Arrive into laidback Seattle this morning. See the iconic Space Needle towering above the city and browse Pike Place Market’s delicious food stalls. The following day, get out into the great outdoors on a tour to the spectacular vistas of Mount Rainier National Park.      

Day 20  Seattle to Salt Lake City      
Fly over the Rockies to Salt Lake City. Explore the scenic surrounds of the Great Salt Lake or visit the impressive temple square.    

Days 21-22  Salt Lake City to Moab      
Pick up your motorhome and drive through vast desert scenery to Moab, gateway to the majestic red rocks of nearby Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Days 23-24  Moab to Monument Valley      
Head south to Monument Valley on the Utah-Arizona border, where you can take in iconic Wild West landscapes dotted with towering sandstone buttes.  

Day 25  Monument Valley to Lake Powell      
Make the drive to scenic Lake Powell, a popular spot for watersports, hiking and photography.      

Days 26-27  Lake Powell to Grand Canyon NP      
Drive your motorhome to one of America’s most iconic landmarks, the Grand Canyon. Explore the South Rim, the most popular section of the national park due to its panoramic views and well-maintained hiking trails.    

Days 28-30  Grand Canyon NP to Las Vegas      
Leave this natural wonder behind for fabulous Las Vegas, a glittering oasis of entertainment in the desert. Drop off your motorhome and start exploring this exciting city.    

Day 31  Las Vegas to Death Valley NP      
Picking up your car, venture to the otherworldly expanse of Death Valley to discover its unique geology as the hottest place in the world.      

Days 32-33  Death Valley NP to Yosemite NP      
Swap desert for lush greenery and waterfalls as you drive to Yosemite National Park.      

Days 34-35  Yosemite NP to Monterey      
Wind your way to Monterey, a charming city with fantastic whale watching. The following day, make a road trip down Highway 1 to the dramatic coastal scenery of Big Sur.      

Days 36-38  Monterey to San Francisco      
Drive north to San Francisco and drop off your car. Spend the next three days ticking off famous landmarks, including intriguing Alcatraz Island. On your final evening, watch the sun set behind Golden Gate bridge as you reminisce on your fantastic journey.

Days 39-40  Fly home
