Days 1-3 Boston
Spend a few days exploring this wonderful city, full of history, culture and cosmopolitan charm.
Day 4 Boston to Kennebunkport
Pick up your car and follow the coastal road to your first stop in Maine, the artisan community of Kennebunkport.
Day 5 Kennebunkport to Boothbay Harbor
Continue north to the rugged landscape of the mid-Maine coast and Boothbay Harbor.
Day 6 Boothbay Harbor
Explore this lovely fishing village or take a boat trip around the craggy coastline. Sample Maine lobster – in this part of the world it’s a staple not a luxury!
Day 7 Boothbay Harbor to Bar Harbor
Continue onwards to Bar Harbor, a charming fishing village where you can take boat tours in search for puffins or lobsters. It’s also the gateway to the stunning Acadia National Park.
Day 8 Acadia NP
Explore this beautiful park on Mt Desert Island by hiking or biking along the historic carriage roads. Drive the 27 mile scenic loop and discover Acadia’s scenic lakes, pine forests, rugged coastline and Cadilac Mountain.
Day 9 Bar Harbor to Portland
Begin your journey south again to the friendly town of Portland.
Day 10 Portland
Discover the Old Port, Arts District, local breweries and picturesque Portland Head Light; the oldest lighthouse in Maine.
Day 11 Portland to Falmouth
Travel down to beautiful Cape Cod and watch the sun set over Old Silver Beach.
Day 12 Falmouth to Martha’s Vineyard
Take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, a romantic island that offers quintessential, Cape Cod charm.
Day 13 Martha’s Vineyard to Chatham
Located in the Outer Cape, Chatham is one of the Cape’s most idyllic villages, full of quaint shops and old seaside chic.
Day 14 Chatham
Discover the nearby sand dunes of the Cape Cod National Seashore. In the evening, tuck into a traditional dinner of lobster bake and clam steamers.
Day 15 Chatham to Boston
Enjoy a final morning on enchanting Cape Cod before returning to Boston.
