Itinerary
Arrive in Chicago and explore this cosmopolitan city at your own pace. With diverse entertainment, striking architecture and excellent shopping on the Magnificent Mile, Chicago is the perfect introduction to the American Midwest.
Days 3-4 Chicago to Williams
Board the Southwest Chief in the afternoon, depart Chicago and settle into your Superliner Roomette. Travel across the mighty Mississippi River, past wheat fields and open plains towards the American West, before arriving in Williams.
Day 5 Williams
Board the Grand Canyon Railway for a scenic journey to one of the Wonders of the World – the Grand Canyon! Take in the awe-inspiring views from the South Rim before returning to Williams.
Days 6-7 Williams to Los Angeles
Re-board the Southwest Chief in the evening and settle back into your Superliner Roomette. Let the train rock you to sleep as you enter California en route to Los Angeles. Arrive early in the morning in the City of Angels and explore this exciting city and its iconic sights including Hollywood, Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.
