Yellowstone & Grand Teton Explorer Westbound

Day 1  Denver        
Arrive in Denver for a day at leisure to explore the city or unwind before your tour begins.

Day 2  Denver to Glenwood Springs      
Today, embark on your scenic Canyon Spirit train journey. Cross the Continental Divide and soak up the incredible views of vast canyons and the meandering Colorado River before arriving in charming Glenwood Springs for an overnight hotel stay.

Day 3  Glenwood Springs to Moab      
Cross the Colorado-Utah border on board your train, admiring changing views of stunning mountain vistas and red sandstone landscapes as you approach Moab, gateway to the Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Stay overnight in Moab.

Day 4  Moab to Salt Lake City        
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Moab before travelling by coach to Thompson Springs in the early afternoon, where you will re-board your Canyon Spirit train. Take in the sweeping rock formations as you wind through Castle Gate, the Price River Canyon, the historic Soldier Summit and the Thistle Tunnels before arriving in the heart of Salt Lake City.

Day 5  Salt Lake City to Jackson Hole      
This morning, journey by road through scenic mountain landscapes, stopping for lunch at the turquoise waters of Bear Lake. Continue to Kahuna Overlook for breathtaking views of the Teton Range and the winding Snake River below before arriving into Jackson Hole. This afternoon is at leisure to explore the town.

Day 6  Jackson Hole to West Yellowstone        
Begin your day with a visit to Grand Teton National Park, where the soul of the American West is captured through its dramatic mountain peaks and pristine lakes. Continue into Yellowstone National Park to explore its extraordinary wonders before ending your day in West Yellowstone, Montana.

Day 7  West Yellowstone to Bozeman        
Embrace another day of exploration through the awe-inspiring Yellowstone National Park. Discover the Norris Geyser Basin, Tower Falls and Mammoth Hot Springs, before continuing to Bozeman Montana, arriving in the early evening.

Day 8  Bozeman      
Today is free for you to depart for your onward travels or to stay and explore the ‘Queen City of the Rockies’.
