Itinerary
Fly to San Francisco, the City by the Bay. Famed for the spectacular Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco is bursting with sightseeing attractions.
Day 3 San Francisco to Yosemite NP
Pick up your car and make the drive to your first national park of the trip, magnificent Yosemite.
Day 4 Yosemite NP
It’s no surprise Yosemite is one of America’s favourite national parks – vast granite peaks, cascading waterfalls, wildflower meadows and towering sequoia trees await.
Day 5 Yosemite to Death Valley NP
Travel from the lushness of Yosemite to the picturesque landscapes of California’s largest national park, Death Valley*. This striking park is full of otherworldly scenery, from sand dunes to salt flats and remarkable rock formations.
Day 6 Death Valley NP to Las Vegas
From natural splendour to man-made wonders, the bright lights of legendary Las Vegas beckon.
Day 7 Las Vegas
Where else but Vegas can you see an Egyptian pyramid, Eiffel Tower and the Statue of Liberty all in the same day? Aside from the fabulous, themed hotels, the city is bursting with entertainment and endless attractions. Perhaps take a helicopter flight for neon skyline views.
Day 8 Las Vegas to Grand Canyon NP
Today head to Arizona, home to one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the Natural World’, the astounding Grand Canyon. At 277 miles long its vast scale is sure to take your breath away.
Day 9 Grand Canyon NP
Soak up the panoramic views of this geological wonder from the South Rim on a scenic drive or hiking trail.
Day 10 Grand Canyon NP to Monument Valley
Continue on to one of the most iconic vistas of Western USA, the towering red rock monoliths of Monument Valley.
Day 11 Monument Valley to Lake Powell
Next up is the town of Page on the shores of Lake Powell. Be sure to seek out the scenery of nearby Horseshoe Bend or perhaps book a tour to discover extraordinary Antelope Canyon.
Days 12-13 Lake Powell to Zion NP
Cross the border into Utah, home to beautiful Zion National Park. A truly special place, the landscape will mesmerise with its rugged canyons and lush vegetation that can be explored on a range of hiking trails.
Days 14-15 Fly home
Drive to Las Vegas and drop off your car in time for your flight home.
