Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Seattle
Arrive in Seattle and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Pike Place Market and the Space Needle
This morning, a walk down Gum Alley brings you to famous Pike Place Market, home to farm-fresh produce, butcher-paper clad bouquets and an abundance of shops, restaurants, and bars. You’ll get to enjoy a variety of locally loved delicacies, including the award-winning clam chowder. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Space Needle for incredible views across the city.
Day 3 Olympic National Park
Spend today visiting the coastal Olympic National Park. Totally different from Mount Rainier, travel by ferry across the Puget Sound and enjoy a series of hikes in a gorgeous world of moss-draped forests, azure lakes and striking mountains.
Day 4 Museum hopping
There is an excellent choice of museums to visit in Seattle. The museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP) is a must-see for all music, sci-fi and general lovers of popular culture, whereas Chihuly Garden is an exhibit in the Seattle Center showcasing the studio glass of Dale Chihuly, perfect for art enthusiasts. In the evening, head to the Capitol Hill neighbourhood for delicious food, live bands and tasty cocktails.
Day 5 Mount Rainier National Park Tour
Today, journey to spectacular Mount Rainier National Park to enjoy a guided trek with an experienced naturalist. Known as the crown jewel of Washington State, you will see thundering waterfalls, ancient glaciers and dramatic river canyons as you explore this fascinating region.
Day 6 Shopping
Spend this morning perusing all the major department stores in the Westfield shopping mall – the perfect place to use up your last remaining dollars before your flight home.
