Camp Okavango

This fabulous camp is nestled on a remote island in the heart of the delta and offers a year round water wilderness experience.

The camp offers a multitude of ways to explore the meandering waterways including motorboat, mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and walking safaris. There is also a host of other activities available in your down time that range from fishing and bird-watching to scenic helicopter flights (pre-booked at additional cost). Due to the camp’s location, game drives in a 4WD are not possible here. Designed to blend with its natural surroundings, the camp is linked by a network of wooden walkways and features an open air lounge, dining area, library, self-service bar, and pool deck overlooking the delta.

The 12 fan-cooled Suites are built on individual raised wooden platforms and set beneath thick vegetation. They are very spacious and elegantly furnished with a seating area, a large shower room divided by a curtain and sliding doors opening onto a private deck with beautiful views over the Okavango Delta. A sleep out deck is also available for those who wish to spend the night under the African sky for stays of 3 nights or more (Apr-Oct, pre-booking recommended, extra charges may apply).
