Moremi Crossing

This traditional tented camp is set on a palm-fringed island, surrounded by Moremi's game rich seasonal floodplains with wonderful views of the Boro River and Chief's Island. Throughout the year the camp provides an amazing contrast of wet and dry Delta environments.
Explore this wildlife rich area on the seasonal (May-October) waterways by mokoro (traditional dugout canoe) and motorboat, track some of the larger game on a walking safari with a specialist guide or enjoy a birds-eye view with a scenic helicopter flight (pre-booked at extra cost). Game drives are also available when water levels are low (either morning, afternoon or night, one per day), allowing you to go further afield. During your down time, make the most of the excellent fishing (subject to water levels) and bird-watching. The thatched main camp area features a dining room, bar and lounge plus there is a small pool tucked away within the trees.

Each of the 16 simple fan-cooled tents are positioned on a raised deck with a private veranda, en-suite and outdoor shower. For families, there is also the option of a Family Tent which consists of two interconnected tents. This property is unfenced so animals may be seen around the camp and you may be escorted to your tent at night.
