With over 500 stations across continental USA, the Amtrak rail network connects all corners of this amazing country. Whether you’re hopping between the legendary east coast cities, or you’re looking for an epic long-distance sleeper train, there is a rail journey for you.

Life on board

Rail travel is the perfect way to experience America’s culture and see the variety of landscapes across the country, with Amtrak offering destinations in 46 states. Amtrak’s array of seating and accommodation options vary by the train you travel on. Their bi-level Superliner and single-level Viewliner services offer coach seats, roomettes, bedrooms and family bedrooms. All sleeping accommodation includes meals in the dining car while coach passengers can purchase a variety of snacks from the café car. Amtrak’s Acela route in the northeast offers high-speed trains with Business Class and First Class seating. Stretch your legs in the carriage or relax with in-seat dining as the train whisks you across the states.

Coach Class

Standard seat only service available on all routes across the USA except from Acela.

Business & First Class

Seated business class is available across most Amtrak trains, while a first class seated service is also offered exclusively on Acela, Amtrak’s flagship high-speed route.

Complimentary non-alcoholic beverage (except for Acela business class)
Exclusive outdoor viewing deck
Additionally, first class provides priority boarding, premium amenities, complimentary food and alcoholic beverages and lounge access at selected stations

Sleeper Accommodation

Superliner roomettes and bedrooms are available on most long-distance services throughout the USA – early booking recommended.

Comfortable, reclining seats in the cabin during the daytime which convert to sleeper accommodation at night
